Advanced Asana Training (YTTC) is a three-day full immersion course, open to yoga teachers and practitioners of all levels who wish to upgrade their teaching skills and personal practice.
The training will focus on how to practice and teach advanced poses and transitions, such as inversions, arm balances and backbends, with the proper awareness and in a safe way.
The study of each pose will be divided into small steps, from the basics to the more advanced versions, with a careful analysis of what hinders the practitioner's progress.
Thanks to this adequate knowledge, we will feel ready to support students of all levels, including ourselves.
Included are:
- 30h YACEP (Yoga Alliance International) certificate, after successful completion of the training
- 30h Advanced Asana manual
- Anatomy of the advanced asanas, proper warm up and counter poses
- Benefits, approach and correct physical and mental preparation for advanced asanas.
- Explanation on how to perform and how to teach advanced asanas, breaking positions step by step for each level, from beginner to intermediate.
- Familiarization with physical and verbal adjustments in advanced asanas.
- How to create a safe space.
- How to go beyond our limits and help students go beyond their limits safely.
- Physical and mental limitations that prevent the student from advancing in practice.
- How to create a workshop or use these positions in a class.
Daily Program:
8:00am to 11:30am Vinyasa flow intermediate and Workshop
11:30am to 2:00pm Lunch and Free time;
2:00pm to 5:00pm Asana laboratory
5:00pm to 06:00pm Restorative
