We are a vibrant community focused primarily on trail running, welcoming runners of all abilities. Whether you're a novice hitting a pace of 10:00 min/mile or an experienced ultra runner sprinting at 6:00 min/mile, there's a place for you here. Our club is based at Ushaw Historic House, but don’t be surprised if most of our runs take you to exciting new terrains around Durham. We explore hidden trails you may not have known existed, as well as popular routes that are favorites among local runners. We offer a variety of sessions designed to enhance your fitness, along with more relaxed social runs. Rain or shine, day or night, we’re out there running together. All you need to bring is a £1 donation for charity, and you’ll experience a fantastic session with genuinely wonderful people and qualified run leaders. HOW DO I KNOW WHERE SESSIONS ARE TAKING PLACE? Breathing Space Durham: A non-profit organisation linked to my childhood church, where my mother volunteers. They provide meaningful health-focused activities for the community, including DIY sessions for older men, fitness classes for seniors and those recovering from illness, and mindfulness walks aimed at promoting mental well-being.
