We will rally beforehand in the plaza outside of City Hall for community building with free food, art, information, and resources. We will also be collecting and distributing tents, sleeping bags, and other supplies to our unsheltered residents, forced to live outside due to consistent policy choices that prioritize corporate profits over people.Durham leadership continues to make it abundantly clear who matters and whose needs are prioritized and it ain’t ours. On Monday, come out to City Hall Plaza before council votes on the budget. We will be serving food and sharing pertinent information to keep residents active and engaged. We can also connect you with organizations doing work around some of the most pressing issues facing the city. We will be collecting canned goods for local food pantries as well as supplies for unhoused residents such as blankets, sleeping bags, tents, flashlights, book bags, etc.If you or your organization would like to volunteer, be a food sponsor, or donate to this endeavor, email thebullcityvanguard@proton.me.
