In this workshop, we will practice a Japanese technique known as tataki-zome which is simply imprinting natural dyes and organic floral shapes by gently hammering flowers directly onto a textile. While we create our designs, everyone will enjoy light provisions created by Nikaline. You'll walk away with a naturally dyed cotton handkerchief that can be worn in many ways -- around your neck or wrist, tied to a purse strap or around a ponytail, or worn as a one-of-a-kind pocket square.
