- **Event Description**: Hi All, this year we will be holding our presentation do on the 3rd May 2025. There will be a charity game during the day In memory of former Wearhead and Wolsingham manager Derek Elliott who we sadly lost last year to illness. The game will see a squad of our current Stanhope team and any former team players take on a team made up form former players of Wolsingham and Wearhead and Derek's family members for one last derby game between the Weardale sides! 

After the match we invite everyone back to Stanhope Club, for food, entertainment and our presentation for this season. It always a great day/night.

In the process of the day we will be raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND). 

We are looking for raffle prizes in our mission to raise as much money and awareness as possible for this worthy cause. 

Any former players wanting to play for either side, please get in touch. 

Also once we have a list of prizes we will be looking for volunteers to help sell raffle tickets on the day!
