The first of our elemental series, an exploration of FIRE.
When: Saturday 28 February 2026, arrive at 2.15pm (finishing at 4.30pm).
Where: Studio 27 - Ushaw, postcode DH7 7DW (parking available on site), meet at East Wing Entrance for 2.15pm.
What to bring:
*Things to be comfortable: meditation cushion, blanket or shawl, small rug or yoga mat to sit on (chairs are available too).
*For the altar: an offering to FIRE (this could be a gift for fire, a symbol of something you'd like to offer more heat or light to, or something you are giving to the fire to transmute)
*Notebook or journal and pen to record any thoughts, visuals, words or insights that come to you.
*A drum or rattle if you have one is welcome!
Tea and treats will be available at close of circle.
You can expect a warm welcome in a rooted and open circle of women. Our circles will reflect the women who gather and the changing season, but will always be about nurturing our hearts and souls in a space that centres women's voices and experiences.
Our circles typically include:
*invitation to step into sacred space
*co-created altar
*oracle draw and sharing
*drum journeys, meditations, journalling, story and song,
*simple hands on crafting.
We always close with tea and chat before we part.
