This program focuses on the most essential fundamentals to effectively deal with the weapons and dangerous situations that you may face in today’s modern context, all the while staying within our legal framework. It is NOT a martial arts style with unrealistic moves.No previous martial arts experience necessary to attend this seminar!Course OverviewPersonal Protective Measures is currently comprised of two training levels. Level I is defensive in nature. It is broken down into an Introduction, followed by 8 modules and finishes with a practical exam. The course outline is:Module 1: Defensive ConceptsModule 2: Ground DefenseModule 3: Defense against Grabs and ChokesModule 4: Defense against Blunt WeaponsModule 5: Defense against Edged Weapons, Pre-ContactModule 6: Defense against Edged Weapons, On-ContactModule 7: Defense Against FirearmsModule 8: Defense Against Multiple Attackers, Crowd/Mob Scenario and Improvised Weapons.While the modules above comprise a full weekend of training, we will begin to explore concepts from Level II as time permits.For more information, please contact Karl Koch at hmbd106@gmail.com.
