On This Winter Night

On This Winter Night revels in the quiet beauty and wonder of the holiday season, when winter settles in and everything seems to slow down. The program captures the range of emotions this time of year brings, blending familiar carols with fresh, modern choral works.

Pieces like Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium, Gjeilo’s Ave Generosa, and Whitacre’s Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening reflect the wonder of winter, while new takes on Silent Night, Jingle Bells, and Carol of the Bells usher in the spirit of the season!
