MAMA, led by Melissa McKinney, is from Asheville, NC. Renowned for her powerful vocals and original lyrics, Melissa is dedicated to using her voice for good and empowering youth to do the same. She serves as the Programming Director for LEAF Global Arts, is the founder of the WTF (Women to the Front) music festival, which highlights women in music and she is on the board of AVLFest, a multi-venue music festival in Asheville, NC. 

MAMA won the Merlefest Band Competition in 2025 and just took 2nd Place in the International Blues Challenge with a stellar line-up of musicians, including band leader, Jonathan Lloyd on trombone, Peter Dimery on saxophone, Andre Lyles on bass, Duane Simpson on guitar, Marcus White on keys, and Nik Hope on drums. 

Deadline for buying tickets online is 5pm the day of the show. After 5pm, please purchase all tickets at the door.
