Half-marathon race training program designed to help you progress safely, run strong, and cross the finish line with confidence! You'll learn effective running form, breathing techniques, fueling for longer runs, best practices for injury prevention, and more. Weekly training emails will keep you motivated, progressing towards your goals, and learning key running tips. Gradually increase your mileage with 8 weeks of our group runs on Sundays at 8am meeting at Herndon Park in Durham from September 1st- October 20th.It is recommended you are currently running at least 3 times a week and can comfortably run 7-8 miles prior to starting this training program. Strollers are welcome to training runs, but may not be permitted for your race.Upcoming Race- Optional!Sunday, November 3rd - City of Oaks Half Marathon
