FAMILY PLOT: 50th Anniversary!

Hitchcock went out with a box office hit in his final film, a darkly funny, twist-filled thriller. Blanche (Barbara Harris), a shady psychic, and her equally dubious boyfriend George (Bruce Dern) are hired to track down Arthur (William Devane), an adopted man with a dangerous past of murder and theft alongside his girlfriend Fran (Karen Black). Chasing him through San Francisco, they uncover layers of deception and danger, while Arthur misreads their motives. Sharp, witty, and morally tangled, Hitchcock’s swan song blends crime, suspense, and sly humor in a tense, unpredictable hunt across the city streets.
