Chrishawn Darby Quartet
Hailing from Orangeburg, South Carolina, Chrishawn Darby is a versatile drummer that uses his musical creativity to reach and captivate others. He is well versed in gospel, jazz, funk, blues, fusion, and classical percussion. He completed his undergraduate degree in Jazz Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro under the tutelage of Thomas Taylor. Since completing his degree, Chrishawn has taught and performed in and around the Carolinas with notable artists including Allison Williams, Shana Tucker, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and the Mint Julep Jazz Band.
