Between the Lines is HoCA’s intimate Tiny Desk–style poetry experience, created to spotlight powerful voices, meaningful stories, and authentic connection.

This curated evening features four standout poets, a warm-up open mic, and a guided community reflection moment that brings the room together in a way only HoCA can.

Set inside the cozy atmosphere of Melanated Wines, this experience blends art, emotion, and conversation — offering a space where everyone is invited to create, connect, and collaborate.

Whether you’re a poet, an artist, or someone who loves meaningful moments, this night is designed for you.

✔ 21+ event (valid ID required at entry)

✔ Doors open at 6:00 PM — early arrival recommended for best seating

✔ Open mic sign-up closes at 6:25 PM

✔ Show starts promptly at 6:30 PM

✔ Suggested donation: $5 (supports artists + HoCA programming)

✔ Free parking available on-site
