Angling Trust Durham Development Roadshow for Clubs and Fisheries
Angling Trust is running a series of events across the country aimed at providing tips and information on how clubs and fisheries can improve their facilities and deliver better, safer and more enjoyable angling for all.
About this Event

Do you want to make better use of your volunteers? Or maybe you'd like some advice on using Facebook and other forms of social media to reach your members and customers?
If so, you are invited to a special development roadshow in Durham. This will be another very popular roadshow this season delivered in partnership with the Environment Agency and funded from fishing licence income. With talks by the Angling Trust, Institution of Fishery Management and Activity Alliance about the importance of creating a safe fishery, as well as planning and delivering your improvement projects, exploiting social media and much more.
The afternoon event will feature interesting and useful presentations on:
Working safely at your fishery
Planning and delivering your facilities project
Engaging disabled people to be more active
Safeguarding at fisheries
Making effective funding applications

The event is free to attend and open to any organisation that offers angling, so whether you are fishery, club, local authority, school or angling project, we'd very much like to see you there. We'll provide lunch on arrival, tea and coffee during the afternoon and aim to finish by 6 pm
