Alfred Hitchcock’s penultimate film marks his first R-rated release, combining dark humor with chilling suspense. Down-on-his-luck Londoner Richard Blaney (Jon Finch) finds unexpected help from an old friend, but the favor comes with deadly consequences: the friend is actually serial killer known as the Necktie Murderer (Barry Foster) and is framing Blaney for his crimes! As Blaney struggles to prove his innocence, he must stay one step ahead of Scotland Yard in a tense, twisting game of cat and mouse. Razor-sharp wit and shocking violence make this a high-stakes thriller.
