40 Kwanzaa Festival

Join the African American Dance Ensemble as we celebrate our 40th Kwanzaa Festival.

Come together on January 1st to honor the principle Imani, or Faith, at The Historic Durham Armory (212 Foster Street, Durham, NC). Doors will open to the public at 12:00 pm, with performances kicking off at 2:00 pm. Kwanzaa is free and accessible to everyone.

Kwanzaa Fest serves as both a marketplace for vendors and a performing arts concert, brimming with dance, music, poetry, and more.

In memory of Baba Chuck Davis, donated canned goods and toiletries will be provided to a local non-profit organization.
