RUPERT & the THUNDERBIRDS

Legendary “partyband” Rupert & The Thunderbirds are back at die Boer with their special “BIG SOUND” brand of 60’s and 70’s Rock & Roll. The band consists of Rupert Mellor on piano, vox & harp, Graham Merrill on trombone and vox, Rob Stemmett on bass, Dave Evans on drums, Mark de Kock on sax and Wayne Pauli ( on guitar).
There are very few bands like this still around. The moment the first notes starts up, you can feel the audience’s “exitement levels” increase at least three notches. The “brass section of the band really adds that extra bit of spice to a great musical feast.
This will be a happy get together between longtime musical friends as well as a guaranteed “blast” for the audience!
Put on your bell-bottom jeans and your purple 70’s T-shirt and get those feet goin’ again!
