Through reminiscent renditions of timeless favourites – ranging from Music Was My First Love, Purple Rain and Donʼt Stop Believing to Kinders van die Wind, Lisa se Klavier and Vier Seisoene Kind – alongside original compositions by MAYNARD, the performance is infused with nostalgia while speaking powerfully to the present. Adding further depth to the evening, the concert is presented in aid of raising funds for Maynard's upcoming graduation ceremony in Wales, United Kingdom, where he will be awarded a masterʼs degree in Educational Leadership.
