Durango Fall Prevention Expands to Smiley Building, Offering Residents More Ways to Stay Safe, Mobile and Active:

Durango, CO - After being offered exclusively at the Durango Recreation Center, the Durango Fall Prevention program is expanding to a second location at the Smiley Building to meet increasing community demand. Designed for all fitness levels, this evidence-based class focuses on improving balance, coordination, and overall body strength— These skills translate directly into everyday life, helping participants walk confidently, climb stairs, reach overhead, and maintain stability while performing daily activities and household tasks.
Beginning January 6 and running through March 26, classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., Suite #24.
