Announcing auditions for GODSPELL, directed by Zachary Thompson.

CALLBACKS if needed, will be by invitation only.
Rehearsals start in early March, show will run for six performances May 1 - 9.

Auditioners will be asked to prepare one of the provided monologues and 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show (musical theatre or folk/pop/rock), with a strong emphasis on character and storytelling. Please bring a headshot and resume. Feel free to bring/show any instruments, special talents, or skills. The weirder, the better!
Those cast will be expected to approach the production and material with a playful spirit. Think more Sesame Street does the New Testament than The Passion of the Christ. Ideally, some actors will double as musicians at times. Heavy preference will be given to those who can play any of the following instruments: Trumpet, ukulele, basic drumming, slide whistle, piano, guitar. Or to those who possess any of the following skills: beatboxing, break dancing, magic tricks, gymnastics, impressions, improv, physical comedy, stunts, accents. Show us your wildest!
