- **Event Description**: Periwinkle Yogi, Joyanna, or Joy is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher through the YTT Collective with three years of practicing experience as well as a level 2 Reiki Healing certification through Joiful Yoga. Joy has a small background in anatomy and physiology and works to acknowledge how any pose may feel entirely different depending on how your body is while emphasizing that these differences are normal. She prefers to teach a slower style of yoga so that you can safely transition from any pose and feel the alignment at any point; if you feel like something is not for you, you are welcome to pull out of the pose and try a different modification.

This class requires no prior yoga experience. Attendees should bring a resealable water bottle and a yoga mat. If you do not have your own mat, Joyanna will have a limited amount available for a $5 equipment charge, payable to the instructor at the beginning of class, first come first serve.
