Return: A Wintu Art Exhibit and Film Screening

We invite you to The Gift House (Jubilee Railroad's new event space) during Dunsmuir’s 41st Annual Candles in the Canyon Festival and 2nd Saturday Art Walk!

Join us for a showing of Return, a collection of sacred artworks by the local Winnemem Wintu artist Tuiimyali (Michael Preston), along with the short documentary film Sawalmem, shown on a loop. Together they call us toward balance and renewal with the natural world in this place known today as Dunsmuir, and long known as the "place of strong waters." After the exhibit, enjoy our special Candles in the Canyon themed drink in our historic Dining Car restaurant.
