The Sunday Sampler Concert Series brings music to the historic Depot in Dunnellon throughout the year, and November is no exception! The concert series is sponsored by the Will McLean Foundation, whose mission is “Saving Florida Through Music”.
The combined talents of four accomplished musicians merge together as In Good Company and become even greater than the sum of their parts!
In Good Company is particularly gifted with harmonies and the use of different instruments. They perform a very polished collection of original songs, well-known folk artist's songs, and select cover songs, including some that you can sing along to! In Good Company members include Curtis Wayne Schaper on bass and guitar, Lisa Bohn on ukulele and percussion, Ingrid Schaper on guitar and flute, and Mike Worrall on bass, guitar, and mandolin. In Good Company has been performing at many folk festivals and events around Florida for a number of years, including the Will McLean Music Festival, the Florida Folk Festival, the Lullaby of the Rivers Festival, and the Barberville Pioneer Settlement festivals. They all trade off lead vocals and harmony, and swap out instruments for the various songs, which makes for a very interesting and entertaining performance. You can tell that they love to do what they do! You will walk away humming these songs for days to follow.
The historic Depot is the perfect place for live music any time of the year! Tickets are $15 (cash preferred) at the door.
