Elodia "Dodie" (Lanigan) Etringer: Community Connection

Dodie tells the story of her past: She immigrated to the United States from Italy in the early 1960's and to Dunkerton area in 1962. Her time as a nanny, her wedding day in a gown purchased from old Oelwein bridal shop, the streets of her hometown, the nuns that fed her when there was little to give and her at 19 setting sail to America on the ship Cristoforo Colombo.
