It can help you experience the many benefits of meditation without having to sit still or be quiet! Chanting mantras together is an effective way to reduce stored stress as it activates your vagus nerve and parasympathetic nervous system through the vibrations in your throat, and long outbreaths, whilst singing It helps to develop a strong sense of loving community that arises as we come together in the intention of love and connection with our breath, with the music, the mantras, and our voices - it's magic! Chanting creates hormonal and neurological changes that bring about feel-good experiences that both calm and uplift body and mind simultaneously. The positive sound vibrations of the mantras open up space around the throat and heart chakras that allow for greater self expression, freedom and emotional release. What to Expect: During the afternoon you'll receive an introduction to the practice and a wee bit on what its all about. Then we'll do some gentle body and vocal warm ups, some beautifully soothing vocal toning meditation then chant and sing mantra songs together.
