Her life changed dramatically at age 14 after a devastating accident on the farm where she was crushed by a forklift, leading to her paralysis. Despite this, she maintains a connection to farm life and often speaks publicly about farm safety.Sammi is now a British athlete known for her achievements in para-athletics, particularly in wheelchair racing. She has competed at various levels, including the Paralympics, and has earned recognition for her determination and skill in the sport. Winning multiple medals at the World Championships and European Championships, has also been awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for her services to sport.
