This is my why.My late Gran-in-law, Mary, was famous for her beautiful roses; ‘Mind my roses!’ she’d call whenever her grandkids kicked a football too close to them.And then there was my lovely neighbour, Anne. She’s the one who first asked me to fold an origami rose as a gift for a friend performing in a theatre production, and the reason I learnt how to create them. That little request is what sparked my love for making these flowers.Sadly, both Mary and Anne were taken by cancer.
