Jennifer, a primary teacher, and her husband Guy, a vet, have worshipped, worked and raised their family in Thurso, on the far north coast of Scotland, for over 27 years now. They have been passionate about promoting unity within the Body of Christ in the far north for many years, working with Christians from other fellowships wherever possible, from children’s ministry to worship and prayer events. Jennifer is on the Steering Group for ORCAS, which seeks to create opportunities for Christians from Orkney, Caithness, Shetland, Sutherland and beyond to gather for prayer, worship and equipping, in unity and love.  One of the most rewarding of Jennifer and Guy’s more recent ministries is hosting an enthusiastic group of seekers, who became new disciples, and now friends: “Together we walk through this life, trying to look to Jesus, to be open to Holy Spirit and to glorify God our Father in simple, everyday ways – in praying for our friends, families, church, community and each other; in supporting and encouraging one another in our questions, fears and doubts through studying God’s Word; in sharing our home and our hearts; and in seizing opportunities to become servants. What a privilege and joy to participate in the Great Commission to go and make disciples, baptising them and teaching them to obey everything Jesus taught His very first disciples
