Dunfermline Baby Yoga (8 weeks - crawling)
Birthlight Baby yoga classes are based on traditional Hatha yoga and on parenting techniques from countries across the world.
The yoga is specifically adapted to be suitable for developing babies, and newly postnatal women.
Baby yoga practice greatly benefits the mother/baby dyad; promoting development, bonding, and relaxation through gentle sequences of movement.
All classes are child-centred, we work with you and your baby and are led by how they feel when they join you on the mat. We use a combination of loving touch, gentle movements, song and games to ensure that as well as being good for you – it is also fun!
Mums often comment on how relaxing the class is - a lovely contrast to other, more active baby classes. Class sizes are kept small, to ensure you can get to know other mothers, and classes can be adjusted to everybody's needs.
