Echoes of Cadia – An Escalation League
The Imperium is in full retreat. With Cadia fallen and its defenders scattered, enemy forces surge forward, seeking to claim what remains. The echoes of war ripple across the shattered battlefield as Chaos, xenos, and opportunists rush to carve their stake in the ashes. The war for survival continues.
This 4-month escalation league begins 1 June, testing your strategic prowess as battles escalate in scale.
- Month 1 – 500 points: Skirmishes erupt as reconnaissance forces clash, scouting the war-torn remnants of Cadia.
- Month 2 – 1000 points: Reinforcements arrive, bringing firepower and fury as factions fight for control.
- Month 3 – 1500 points: All-out war—armies at full strength, locked in a desperate struggle to determine the fate of Cadia’s legacy.
- Month 4 – 2000 points: The final conflict—full-scale warfare. Only the strongest will stand victorious as the last echoes of Cadia fade.
Match Fee: $10 per game, with all proceeds going directly toward prizing. Players will receive their full buy-in value back in Warhammer rewards at the culmination of the season.
Prizing:
- Warhammer kits and prizes for all participants, with grand rewards for top contenders.
- One ‘Primarch Level’ Prize awarded to a community-voted player—recognizing exceptional sportsmanship, creativity, or battlefield prowess.
Army Rules:
- We encourage players to bring newer armies, as plenty of exciting Warhammer releases have arrived in the past year, but this is not a requirement—everyone is welcome to bring their favorite forces.
- Factions are locked once selected, but players are free to swap individual units between matches as needed.
- Painted armies are not required, though fully painted forces are always appreciated for that cinematic battlefield aesthetic.
