An exhibition of recent botanical paintings and jewellery pieces.

Some of you may remember Prince of Butchers, a line of jewellery I made and sold at my shop nearly a decade ago. it's been wonderful rediscovering all my vintage and antique materials which are the basis of these pieces.
The materials themselves excite me most when laid in bundles in my work space, the infinite possibilities they offer. I try to retain that energy in my necklaces which are a type of chaotic balance.
I'm also enjoying the freedom of making botanical paintings, a very different practice to my previous artwork yet it is not without some common threads and themes, with these works the intention is simple, celebrating the plants I love.
