Guitarist John Meddings is a stalwart of the Dunedin music scene, well known around town and throughout the south. Most often seen with his long standing band Bare Essentials, he also appears in various duos and combinations and is a much sought-after session musician. 

Growing up surrounded by musical instruments, it was probably inevitable that Eugene would take up music in some form. He became involved in music at school in Wanaka and played in various cover bands both there and after moving to Dunedin to study. He often plays with Bare Essentials these days, has been long-time member of covers band Strange Brew and several other line-ups including his brother Max's originals band "Horatio". Eugene studied classical guitar at the University of Otago and is Head of Music at Otago Girls' High School. 

Lindsey has made TV and radio appearances as well as being a guest at folk festivals and clubs in NZ and overseas. She’s best known in the folk world as a solo singer/songwriter, a member of Erin St and The Pog Band, but she also loves to perform songs from the jazz repertoire and other genres. She sang with the Dunedin City Jazz Orchestra during the Calder Prescott era. Lindsey has been a member of several local bands and has produced two solo albums of her original songs.
