Printmaking techniques are taught when a project requires it, and will be taught to individuals or groups, as required. In this class there is much value in the learning that occurs within the group dynamic and the communal workshop environment.Please bring all your own supplies,It is advisable to bring an art kit with you including the usual suspects: pens (including black sharpie and fine line pens over 1mm - useful for drawing) pencils, a craft knife, scissors, glue stick along with any printmaking tools you like to use frequently. Paper for trials - Bockingford Pads in cartridge and watercolour (for intaglio) weight are useful.Health and Safety Gear: Apron, gloves (thin disposable ones are useful for inking up and ordinary kitchen sink gloves are useful for cleaning surfaces/screens etc), closed in shoes.Imagery/ideas – maybe you have a visual diary, a concept or some photos on your phone (for example).
