Led by local artist Lucy Smith, this workshop celebrates the process of creation. You'll work together in small groups to bring a handful of manu aute to life – sharing knowledge, skills, and kōrero along the way. Lucy will guide you through each step, weaving in the stories and significance behind this treasured craft.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with te ao Māori, mark the Māori New Year, and experience the joy of making together.

Suitable for all ages and skill levels, with no prior experience necessary. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
