Stride, Ride, & Slide is Sport Otago's mini triathlon, for tamariki aged 2 to 6-years-old!
The 2026 Dunedin event is being held on March 15 at Logan Park.
It is a fun, non-competitive event, where our little athletes will stride (short run/walk), ride (push or pedal their bike), then slide into the finish with a splash on our water slide.
For the ride, any bike is fine! Our mini triathletes bring a range of bikes on the day from push bikes, balance bikes, trikes, scooters, and more. Be aware the event is held on grass so depending on your child's bike, you may need to jump in and help them along their way!
There'll be play equipment, food and coffee vendors - it’s a fun day out for the whole whānau!
