Join us on Saturday, 29th March, for a rare astronomical event – a partial solar eclipse, where up to 45% of the sun will be obscured! ?

✨ Event Details:
Opening Time: 9:30 AM
Eclipse Peak: Just after 11:00
Closing Time: 12:30 PM (We'll reopen at 6:30 PM for the evening session)

? What’s On:
?️ Safe Viewing: Eclipse glasses available for just £1 from The Mills Observatory shop
? Solar Projector: Watch the eclipse unfold with our solar projector!
? Family Activities: Our Creative Learning Team will be on-site between 10am-12pm with drop -in space-themed crafts for families
?️ This event is FREE to attend, so bring the whole family along for a stellar experience!

This is our last day of opening for the season, so come along and see off the winter season in style!  Mills will then reopen for the new season on Wednesday 1st October 2025
