kitti and the Tayside Big Band
Headlining this years festival, kitti will be joined by local big band stars The Tayside Big Band, for a one-off spectacular in the Bonar Hall.
To celebrate her debut album “Somethin’ In The Water” being nominated for the Scottish Album of the Year Award 2025, tonight will see brand new specially commissioned arrangements of her album for big band, along with jazz classics and show-stopping tunes from the great American songbook.
kitti, born in Paisley, just outside Glasgow, Scotland, is a musician and singer-songwriter who has been working in and around the Glasgow music scene from the age of 15.
kitti’s voice evokes deep emotion and touches the heart of the listener. She has a voice that has the power to move people to tears, to uplift their spirits, and to transport them to another world.
With this voice and the unmatchable sounds of a big band on the top of their game, it'll be a night to remember.
