The clinical applications of composite injection moulding in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.2. Appropriate case selection, including cases suitable for additive composite dentistry and cases where alternative treatment options may be more appropriate.3. The principles of smile design, diagnostic planning and wax-up/mock-up workflows relevant to injection moulding.4. The fabrication of the injection moulding stent, including the advantages and disadvantages of chairside fabrication versus laboratory-produced stents.5. The clinical stages of the injection moulding procedure, including isolation, preparation, adhesive protocols, composite injection, curing, finishing and polishing.6. Hands-on practical experience of using the stent and performing the composite injection moulding technique on a training model.7. Common pitfalls, including poor case selection, inaccurate stent fabrication, inadequate isolation, air voids, excess flash, bonding failure, finishing errors and occlusal issues.8. The limitations of the technique, including aesthetic, functional, material and longevity considerations.9. Maintenance requirements, including polishing, repair, review protocols and management of staining, chipping or wear.Learning OutcomesFollowing completion of the course, delegates will be able to:1. He is a member of the Dental Faculty for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.He has also been awarded his Diploma in Implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and is an examiner for them, as well as a Fellow of the College.
