✨ New 3-Week Series: Playing with the Cross ✨
Starting Thursday, 18th September, join Maeve McGreevy and Wenhao Fu for a special tango series exploring one of the most iconic elements of Argentine Tango: the cross.
Over three weeks, we’ll:
🔹 Discover the classic cross (step #5 for the follower) in the basic structure (parallel system and cross system).
🔹 get rid of the preparation steps
🔹 different exits from the cross
🔹 using the cross as a tool to go from close to open embrace
🔹 Ocho cortado
🔹 Play with variations — suspended, delayed, and syncopated crosses.
Classes are beginner-friendly but layered for all levels — giving both leaders and followers tools to deepen their dance and connection.
📍 Venue: Blackrock Community Centre, Dundalk
