The Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation (DAEDF) will host the Duncan Area Youth Engineering Contest for 7th - 12th grade students in the Red River Technology Center school district. The race will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Simmons Center, 800 Chisholm Trail Parkway, Duncan, OK. Call our office at 580-255-9675 to get your $5 car kit.
The contest is challenging for students, teachers, and parents. It requires critical thinking, design, drafting, and manufacturing a CO2 race car. The students compete in a tournament for cash prizes in 4 categories People's Choice, Engineering, Racing, and Best Overall.
This contest is possible because of DAEDF's partnership with our local middle schools, high schools, Red River Technology Center, and Cameron University. Duncan's Dream It Do It Oklahoma initiative is a manufacturing career pathways associated with the Manufacturing Institute and the National Association of Manufacturers(NAM).
