Jeannette lives on Salt Spring Island, where she creates large-scale, hyperrealistic drawings that confront exclusion and invisibility.

This exhibition brings together three bodies of work: At the Table: The 2SLGBTQ+ Visibility Project, reclaiming grand manner portraiture to centre queer lives and challenge ongoing erasure; Mortal Coil, a stark black-and-white series on mental health and self-perception; and a large-scale stand-alone portrait bridging both themes. Together, these works demand that viewers consider who is seen, how they are seen, and who is still fighting to be visible.
