Eyehategod is an influential American sludge metal band from New Orleans, formed in 1988 by guitarist Jimmy Bower and drummer Joey LaCaze. The band is known for its heavy, detuned riffs, walls of feedback, and the tortured vocal style of frontman Mike IX Williams. After forming, they released demos and signed with Century Media, reissuing their early work and releasing seminal albums like Take As Needed For Pain, which Rolling Stone ranked among the greatest metal albums.
Legions of Doom is a doom metal supergroup founded in 2022 by Ron Holzner (The Skull, Trouble) to honor the late Eric Wagner, featuring members of Trouble, Saint Vitus, Corrosion of Conformity, and The Skull. The band performs a mix of songs from the discographies of their members and music written by Eric Wagner, aiming to keep his spirit and legacy alive through their performances. The lineup includes vocalists Scott Reagers (Saint Vitus) and Karl Agell (Lie Heavy, Leadfoot), along with guitarists Lothar Keller (The Skull) and Scott Little (Leadfoot), and drummer Henry Vasquez (The Skull, Saint Vitus).
