At dusk if we are lucky, we may hear the amazing, croaking chorus of rare Natterjack Toads. Male toads visit shallow pools to sing to females and encourage them to spawn.

Come along to see and hear these rare toads first hand, with our expert, licenced guide.

Please bring wellies (walking boots or shoes are not suitable, as quarantine measures must be taken).

Strenuous activity, as will require walking some distance (up to 2.5 miles) away from paths/trails on uneven, damp terrain.

Families welcome (though not suitable for early years).

Please also note that, as the reserve location is prone to flooding, we ask that all individuals/groups attending provide a telephone number, so we can notify you in advance if the event is cancelled.
