Axe and Knife Skills

This course is intended for adults wanting to gain confidence in the use of axes, knives and saws in the wilderness.

About this Event

We will be based in a beautiful beech wood with the campfire lit and the kettle ready. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be on hand. Please bring your own lunch; you are welcome to use the fire to cook.

The course will cover:

Correct and safe use of axes, knives andd saws
Selection of woods for different purposes
Sharp tools law
Making useful items to use around camp and to extend the purpose of your metal tools.
