This is the event for you!This event is the second part in our Introduction to iNaturalist workshop series and will cover how use your wildlife knowledge to identify existing observations.iNaturalist is community-based biological recording tool. It relies on a community of dedicated volunteers around the world to add accurate identifications to observations made by others. If you can name just 3 different species, be that flowers, trees, mammals, birds, this workshop is for you. By the end of the session you’ll have the skills and confidence to identify observations from across the world, helping to build knowledge and support conservation through your observations.We’ll start with a short presentation where we’ll get to grips with how to use the desktop version on iNaturalist. You will then use your laptop or tablet to start identifying observations. In particular we will be focussing on observations made within the West Dunbartonshire area.Please note, this session is the second in a series. You may wish to attend the first session in The Saltings or Balloch Castle Country Park, though this is not a requirement.FAQsWho is this event for? This event is open to all, though you will need to have some familiarity with the basic functions of iNaturalist (i.e. how to make an observation).
