Be part of a team dedicated to preventing suicide and bringing hope through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. The AFSP Minnesota Chapter serves all of Minnesota, bringing together people from all backgrounds who want to prevent suicide in their communities. We are excited to welcome our 2026 Team AFSP runners to raise funds for prevention programs, scientific research, public education, advocacy, and support for survivors of suicide loss.

As a team member, you’ll be part of a community of athletes committed to raising awareness, remembering our loved ones, and reflecting on our own struggles. Running with Team AFSP can be a powerful step in your own healing or grieving journey, while also showing others that mental health matters and no one has to face it alone.

• Fundraising tips and training suggestions 
• Team AFSP Dinner the Friday night before the race.

Fundraising minimum $750 for the full and half marathon, $350 for the 5K. Your registration code for the race will be provided when you meet the race fundraising minimum. If a participant has raised zero dollars and does not communicate with the team captain, the participant may be removed from the team to allow someone from the waitlist to take their place.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Grandma's Marathon events and we would love to have you run with us!
