- **Event Description**: Our first trail work day of the year will be next Monday, June 8th, from 5 - 8 pm at Quarry Park. DuFTA is working with the Duluth Climbers Coalition and Duluth Parks to improve the hiking trail. The trail leads to stunning views from the top of the cliff, but the trail hasn't been well-maintained, and a variety of informal trails crisscross the area, making it a little confusing which trail to take.  We plan to clear, widen, and improve drainage on sections of the hiking trail, to make it more apparent which is the correct trail.  We're also working on getting improved signage along the trail later this summer.

No experience needed; all equipment and training provided! We'll start at 5 pm, and work to around 8 pm (or as long as you can!) Meet at the Quarry Park trailhead off 59th Ave W.  We recommend bringing water and work gloves and wearing long pants and close-toed shoes. PLEASE REGISTER HERE so we know how much equipment to bring!
