Once More, Autumn * Lu Starr * Austin Castle

A project rooted in Eau Claire, Wisconsin’s artistic soil, Evan Walton fronts Once More, Autumn. A transplant of Minneapolis and an alumnus of Berklee College of Music, Walton fuses indie folk elements with alternative textures. Propelled by the instrumentation of Jeremy Boettcher (S. Carey), Isaac John (Underneath Oceans), and Steve Shaw (The Bathtub Marys), the band melds atmospheric tones with lush, driving riffs. Paired with Walton’s introspective and emotive words, Once More, Autumn offers dynamic and earnest musical expression.

2025’s forthcoming EP “Foals” ushers in a return to live instrumentation and full band dynamics. The 5-track release marks a sonic shift for the band, but relies on familiar themes and depth. Foals is preceded by the 2023 single “Violet,” and 2021’s inaugural EP “Love is a Sea,” produced by longtime friend and collaborator Ro Lorenzen (Static Panic).

Austin Castle is a country artist with the heart of a folk singer and the voice of a bluesman. Austin was the winner of Duluth Dylan Fest’s songwriter contest in 2024. Austin's upcoming album, "American Dream", is expected to release in 2025.
