The workshop will be facilitated by Nate Smith, whose Spirit name is Good Thunder. Nate is an enrolled member of Gaa-Miskwaabikaang, the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and will share teachings about our four sacred medicines: sage, cedar, tobacco, and sweetgrass, including their cultural significance, respectful gathering, preparation, and use.

Shells and smudging bundles will be provided to attendees through the generous support of the Northland Foundation. AICHO will also provide food and refreshments.
