Curious about improv or looking for a chance to revisit the fundamentals? Join instructor Sarah Caffee for a welcoming eight-week introduction to long-form improvisation.

Rather than trying to be the funniest person in the room, long-form improv is about building trust, supporting others, accepting ideas, and creating something together. Through fun, interactive exercises, participants will explore the core foundations of long-form improv, including "yes, and," active listening, creating grounded scenes, developing characters, and building worlds together.

Whether you're stepping onto an improv stage for the first time or returning to strengthen your skills, this course offers a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to take creative risks, laugh often, and grow in confidence. The session concludes with an optional student showcase for friends and family.

About Your Instructor
Sarah Caffee spent 15 years as an educator and school leader before turning her focus to improv and creative play. She has been performing long-form improv since 2016 with troupes in Arizona and Washington, D.C., and previously served on the board of the Washington Improv Theater. In Duluth, she founded the interactive improvisational puppet troupe Good Puppet Bad Puppet. Sarah believes improv isn't about being the funniest person in the room—it's about listening, collaborating, and creating something meaningful together.
